What Happens Here

How This Works

Ten of us show up in a private Zoom room.

Everyone agrees to listen. No fuss. No performance.

Someone tells a story they've never told before.

The kind that's been waiting for the right moment, the right room.

The rest of us listen. Really listen.

The kind of listening that changes both people.

Near the end, everyone gets to share how the story landed for them. In a few simple words.

That's all. That's enough.

The Rules for Listeners

Before You Join

  • Find somewhere quiet

  • Turn your phone off (not silent—off)

  • Have water or good beverage nearby

  • Ensure good lighting on your face

  • Check your internet connection

  • Camera must be on

  • Mic stays muted until sharing time

During The Session

  • Look at the speaker (into your camera)

  • Let your face be real - don't act

  • Don't try to fix anything

  • Let silence do its work

  • When they pause, wait

  • When it gets heavy, stay

  • Keep your mic muted unless speaking

For Reflections

  • Share what resonated or touched you

  • Keep it simple and real

  • No "You should have" or "Why didn't you"

  • No "That reminds me of"

  • No similar stories

  • No advice-giving

  • Just "I hear you" or "thank you" will do

  • Keep it brief (1-2 minutes)

After The Session

  • Let it change you

  • Learn from the silence

Remember

  • We're not here to fix anything

  • We're not here to give advice

  • We're not here to perform

  • We're just here to witness

  • The world can run without us for an hour

  • Someone's about to trust us with something real
